Gas and liquid filter specifications, standards, materials, and application introduction

The gas-liquid filter is also known as: gas-liquid filter, gas-liquid net, foam breaking net, filter net, knitting net, SP standard wire mesh. It is actually a wire mesh woven by improving the traditional sweater needle knitting method.

The wire used for weaving is generally a round wire of φ0.08~φ0.50mm or a pressed flat wire. Wires with a diameter of ≤φ0.30mm can be braided into multiple strands. The form of multiple strands can also be a combination of metal wire and fiber wire.   
The standards for gas-liquid filters in Shanghai Q/SG12-1-79 standard are as follows:   
1. Standard specifications: 40-100, 60-150, 105-300, 140-400, 160-400;
2. High-efficiency specifications: 60-100, 80-100, 80-150, 150-300, 200-400;
3. High-penetration specifications: 20-100, 80-100, 70-400, 170-560, 170-600;
SP standard wire mesh materials:   
⑴ Metal wire: various stainless steel wire, galvanized iron wire, copper wire, nickel wire, titanium wire, alloy wire;   
⑵ Non-metallic wire: nylon wire, polyethylene wire, polypropylene wire, F46 wire, glass fiber wire;  
⑶ Interweaving of metal wire and non-metallic wire;

Application fields of gas-liquid filter mesh:   
◆ Making wire mesh demister filter pads.   
◆Filters for gas-liquid separation, gas-water separation, oil-water separation and other devices.   
◆Various filter elements on engines of automobiles, tractors, etc.

Detailed information on gas-liquid filters
   1. Wire diameter range: 0.10mm-0.55mm (common wire diameter is: 0.20mm-0.25mm). In addition, there are multiple strands of wire twisted together.
   2. Hole size: from (2×3mm) to (4×5mm) to (12×6mm). In addition, the hole size can be fine-tuned according to customer requirements. The hole form is a cross arrangement of large holes and small holes (the size of the holes in the length direction is consistent, but the width is different).
   3. The surface condition of the gas-liquid filter: flat mesh surface and corrugated mesh surface pressed into corrugations (the width and depth of the corrugations have different specifications)
   4. The width range of the gas-liquid filter: 40mm, 80mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400, 500mm, 600mm, etc.
   5. The main materials of gas-liquid filter screen: stainless steel wire has AISI201, 202, 301, 302, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, pure nickel wire, pure titanium wire, monel, galvanized wire, modified drawn wire, stainless steel wire and cotton thread or plastic, PP, PC, PE, PVC, PTFE.
   HG/T21618-1998 wire mesh demister gas-liquid filter screen specifications are: SP, DP, HR, HP type four standard specifications.
The wire mesh demister gas-liquid filter screen specifications are: HG5-1404, HG5-1405, HG5-1406, standard number is Shanghai Q/SG12-1-79. The standard stipulates three types of gas-liquid nets, namely standard type, high efficiency type and high penetration type.
