Inconel 625 metallographic structure: 625 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure. When kept at about 650°C for a long enough time, carbon particles and unstable quaternary phases will precipitate and will be converted into stable Ni3 (Nb, Ti) orthorhombic lattice phases. After solid solution strengthening, the molybdenum and niobium components in the nickel-chromium matrix will improve the mechanical properties of the material, but the plasticity will be reduced.
Inconel 625 corrosion resistance: 625 alloy shows excellent corrosion resistance in many media. It has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and erosion in chloride media. It has good resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc., and also has resistance to alkali and organic acid corrosion in oxidizing and reducing environments. Effective resistance to chloride ion reduction stress corrosion cracking. It hardly produces corrosion in seawater and industrial gas environments, and has high corrosion resistance to seawater and salt solutions, even at high temperatures. No sensitivity during welding. Deformation Inconel625 refers to a type of alloy that can be hot and cold deformed, with an operating temperature range of -253~1320℃, good mechanical properties and comprehensive strength and toughness indicators, and high oxidation and corrosion resistance. According to the heat treatment process, it can be divided into solid solution strengthened alloy and aging strengthened alloy.
1. Solid solution strengthened alloy
The operating temperature range is 900~1300℃, and the maximum oxidation resistance temperature is 1320℃. For example, GH128 alloy has a room temperature tensile strength of 850MPa and a yield strength of 350MPa; the tensile strength at 1000℃ is 140MPa, the elongation is 85%, the endurance life at 1000℃ and 30MPa stress is 200 hours, and the elongation is 40%. Solid solution alloys are generally used to make aviation and aerospace engine combustion chambers, casings and other parts.
2. Aging strengthened alloy
The operating temperature is -253~950℃, and it is generally used to make structural parts such as turbine disks and blades for aviation and aerospace engines. The alloy working temperature for making turbine disks is -253~700℃, and it is required to have good high and low temperature strength and fatigue resistance. For example: GH4169 alloy, the maximum yield strength at 650℃ is 1000MPa; the alloy temperature for making blades can reach 950℃, for example: GH220 alloy, the tensile strength at 950℃ is 490MPa, and the endurance life at 940℃ and 200MPa is greater than 40 hours.
Deformed Inconel625 mainly provides structural forgings, cakes, rings, bars, plates, pipes, strips and wires for aerospace, aviation, nuclear energy, and petroleum civilian industries.
Cast Inconel625 refers to a type of Inconel625 that can or can only be formed by casting.
The main features of Inconel625 are:
1. It has a wider composition range. Since it is not necessary to take into account its deformation processing performance, the design of the alloy can focus on optimizing its performance. For example, for nickel-based Inconel625, the γ' content can be adjusted to 60% or more by adjusting the composition, so that the alloy can still maintain excellent performance at a temperature of up to 85% of the alloy melting point.
2. It has a wider application field. Due to the special advantages of the casting method, Inconel625 castings with nearly net shape or no margin and any complex structure and shape can be designed and manufactured according to the use needs of the parts.
