Alloy 600 (UNS N06600/W.Nr. 2.4816) is a standard engineering material for applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents an ideal combination of high strength and good machinability and is easy to weld. Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for high temperatures ranging from cryogenics to 1093 °C. Alloy 600 is non-magnetic.
Alloy600 high temperature alloy wire mesh has the following characteristics:
1. It has good resistance to corrosion by reducing, oxidizing and nitriding media;
2. It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature;
3. It has good resistance to corrosion by dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas;
4. It has good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature;
5. It has good creep rupture strength and is recommended for use in working environments above 700°C.
