Corrosion-resistant alloy grades and applications
SRIM825: ● It is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy of nickel-iron-chromium series, with a small amount of molybdenum and copper added. It has good corrosion resistance in reducing and oxidizing acids. It resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion, and has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. It has good hot and cold processing properties and is easy to cold form and weld.
● It is suitable for the chemical industry.
17-4PH precipitation hardening stainless steel material: ● It is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel material. In addition to easy strengthening by martensitic transformation, it can also be further strengthened by aging, and its corrosion resistance and weldability are better than general martensitic steel, similar to 18-8 austenitic steel.
● It is suitable for manufacturing equipment parts that require good corrosion resistance and high strength.
2205 duplex stainless steel: ● It is a kind of stainless steel with coexistence of ferrite and austenite. Its mechanical strength and corrosion resistance are significantly better than the typical austenitic steel 316L. It has good performance in dilute sulfuric acid, pure organic acid and its mixed acid medium, brackish water, seawater and chloride ion medium.
● It is widely used in chemical, petrochemical, shipbuilding, hydropower and environmental protection industries.
Monel 400 alloy: ● It is a nickel-copper alloy. The alloy structure is a single-phase solid solution. It has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media. It has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali liquids and can be used in high-temperature halogen, seawater and various organic acid media. One of its characteristics is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion cracking.
● It can be widely used in the chemical industry, petrochemical, shipbuilding, nuclear industry, electronic communications and other fields.
Carpenter 20 alloy: ● It is a FeNi-based Cr-Ni-Fe alloy. It has good corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, nitric acid and their mixed acid media, good stress corrosion resistance and reducing acid corrosion resistance, and good hot and cold processing performance.
● It is widely used in the chemical industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgy and rare metal refining and other fields.
347 stainless steel: ● Austenitic stainless steel with good resistance to crystal-line corrosion. Good corrosion resistance in acid, alkali and salt solution, good oxidation resistance and weldability in air below 800℃.
● Widely used in aviation, chemistry, petrochemical, food, papermaking and other fields.
SRIM C-276: ● It is an ultra-low carbon nickel-molybdenum-chromium nickel-based alloy. It has unique corrosion resistance in reducing acids with oxygen or oxidants, and in oxidizing acids with chloride ions and fluorine ions. It has excellent resistance to pitting, uniform corrosion and intergranular corrosion, and has good high-temperature mechanical properties.
● It is widely used in nuclear industry, chemical, petroleum, and nonferrous metallurgy industries.
SRIM B: ● It is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy of the nickel-molybdenum-chromium series. It has good corrosion resistance to boiling hydrochloric acid of all concentrations, and is also resistant to corrosion by non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid and other organic acids. It has the characteristics of high high-temperature strength, dimensional stability, high specific resistance, and good hot and cold processing performance.
● It is widely used in the fields of chemical, petrochemical and electronic industries.
Steel resistant to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion (ND steel):
● Corrosion resistance is more than 10 times higher than that of ordinary carbon steel, and is much higher than that of Japanese Corten steel, CRIA steel and S-ten steel.
● Used to manufacture pipes and plates for boiler pressure vessels, petrochemical and power industries. Chloride ion corrosion resistant stainless steel (C-15):
● It is a high-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel. Its service life in chloride ion-containing media is several times higher than that of ordinary stainless steel (304, 316L).
● It is suitable for manufacturing parts that work in seawater, sewage and various chemical media containing chloride ions. 940 stainless steel:
● It is a martensitic stainless steel. It has the characteristics of high strength, high hardness and corrosion resistance. Hardness HRC50.
● It is suitable for manufacturing parts that are subject to corrosion and wear in seawater and various chemical media containing chloride ions.
High-strength wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant duplex stainless steel (WH-4): ● It is a high-chromium and low-nickel duplex stainless steel. Its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, formic acid and chloride ion-containing media is much better than that of 316 and 316L stainless steel, and its pitting resistance under standard pitting corrosion test conditions is equivalent to that of 904L steel.
● It is suitable for making various chemical equipment and accessories, as well as pumps, valves and centrifuge plate meshes and screens used under highly corrosive and abrasive working conditions.
High silicon stainless steel (NS-80) for concentrated sulfuric acid corrosion resistance:
● In 80℃ 90%~100% sulfuric acid, its corrosion resistance is better than Alloy200 and 316L, 304 and other stainless steels.
● Suitable for manufacturing sulfuric acid wire mesh demisters, pumps, valves, etc.
A18 high-strength non-magnetic stainless steel:
● High strength, good fracture toughness, good resistance to seawater and stress corrosion, magnetic permeability (μ) 1.002μh/m.
● Suitable for high-strength parts and non-magnetic molds that require non-magnetic and rust-proof.
