HG5 series wire mesh demister type, mechanism and installation instructions

Wire mesh demister, also known as wire mesh demister, wire mesh foam catcher, wire mesh flame arrester, deaerator packing, etc.

Wire mesh demister can also be divided into materials; F46 polytetrafluoroethylene wire mesh demister , polypropylene PP wire mesh demister, stainless steel wire mesh demister, demister, etc.

HG5 series wire mesh demister type:

1. The mesh block of the riser type ( HG5-1404-81 ) wire mesh demister is installed at the lower end of the riser at the top of the equipment.

2. Reduced diameter type ( HG5-1405-81 ) When the mesh block diameter of the designed wire mesh demister is smaller than the cylinder diameter of the equipment, an additional short section is required to install the mesh block.

3. When the mesh block diameter of the full-diameter ( HG5-1406-81 ) wire mesh demister is equal to the cylinder diameter of the equipment, the mesh block is directly installed in the cylinder.

There are two types of mesh block structures for HG5 wire mesh demister: disc mesh block and strip mesh block:

1. Disc mesh block: The mesh block with the required diameter is made of wire mesh. The thickness of the mesh block is equal to the width specification of the die. This mesh block makes full use of the wire mesh material and there is no scrap loss. However, when rolling, the density of each circle must be consistent, otherwise it is easy to cause short circuit and affect the defoaming effect. Disc mesh blocks should not be made by hand, but should be rolled by machine to ensure the quality of rolling. Disc mesh blocks are only suitable for wire mesh defoamers with smaller diameters. This standard product is used for Dg300-600mm .

2. Strip mesh block : Strip mesh block is the most commonly used structure at present. It is made of wire mesh laid flat layer by layer to the specified number of layers, and then a grid is placed on the top and bottom of the mesh layer. The mesh layer is then pressed to the required thickness and is made into a whole piece with distance rods and hooks. The shape and size of the strip mesh block vary with the nominal diameter and the number of blocks.

3. Installation of mesh block: When installing the mesh block, it can be installed from top to bottom or from bottom to top. When the manhole is opened above the wire mesh demister or there is no manhole but there is an equipment flange, a top-mounted wire mesh demister is selected. When the manhole is opened below the wire mesh demister, a bottom-mounted wire mesh demister is selected.
