Stainless steel corrugated packing is divided into mesh corrugated packing, wire mesh corrugated packing, orifice plate corrugated packing, and rolled orifice plate corrugated packing.

Stainless steel corrugated packing (BX500, CY700, CY900, CY1000). Stainless steel orifice corrugated packing (SM250, SM350, SM450, SM550 and 250Y, 350Y, 450Y, and 550Y). Stainless steel mesh plate corrugated packing (SW-1 type, SW-2 type), etc.

The main materials include stainless steel 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 310/310S, 321, 2250/2507, copper, aluminum, pure titanium, molybdenum titanium, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, copper nickel alloy wire, nickel alloy, and other stainless steel materials.

The main advantages of stainless steel corrugated packing are: large specific surface area, high porosity, light weight, and high packing efficiency; The gas phase path has a small inclination angle and a regular gas phase path, resulting in small pressure loss and reduced packing pressure; Good radial diffusion and sufficient gas-liquid contact.

Stainless steel corrugated packing is assembled from stainless steel wire mesh corrugated sheets. The packing forms a uniform geometric arrangement in the tower, which specifies the gas-liquid flow path and improves the phenomenon of channel and wall flow. Due to the unique capillary effect of the wire mesh, the surface area has more effective wetting performance, low pressure drop, and low liquid holding capacity, thus having high separation efficiency. Especially suitable for difficult to separate systems and thermosensitive systems.

Widely used in petrochemical industry, such as catalytic cracking and distillation sections in refineries, fertilizers, natural gas, biochemistry, environmental engineering, and other fields. The diameter of the tower equipment reaches 3 meters, and its separation performance is higher than that of stainless steel orifice plate corrugated packing. Suitable for operating temperatures below 400 ℃, with no temperature restrictions for low-temperature operations.

BX-500 stainless steel wire mesh corrugated packing is particularly suitable for vacuum distillation of thermosensitive and difficult to separate systems, especially for operating pressure below 7KPa and requiring multiple theoretical plates with low pressure drop requirements; The overall height is expected to be low; Test towers set up for industrial scaling; Low liquid holding capacity; In situations where the humidity of the heating medium is limited.

CY-700 stainless steel wire mesh corrugated packing is generally used for isotope separation or precision fractionation of difficult to separate material systems that require a large number of theoretical plates. It can also be used in highly restricted or high-purity product applications. Example: Nitrotoluene, isopropanol, ethylene oxide, methanol, ethanol, turpentine, C5-C9 synthetic fatty acids, sandalwood, and many other petrochemical, spice, pharmaceutical, and dye products.

CY-900 stainless steel wire mesh corrugated packing is generally used for isotope separation or precision fractionation of difficult to separate material systems that require a large number of theoretical plates.

The types of silk screen corrugated packing are divided into: silk screen corrugated packing, perforated corrugated packing, and perforated plate corrugated packing.

1. Wire mesh corrugated packing is an important milestone in the development of regular packing. This type of packing is composed of wire mesh sheets arranged in a corrugated manner, with an inclination angle of 30 ° or 45 °. The adjacent two corrugated sheets have opposite directions. When filling in the tower, the upper and lower plates of packing are staggered and stacked 90 °. It has the advantages of high efficiency, pressure reduction, and high flux. The products include BX and CY types, which are commonly used in vacuum distillation, atmospheric distillation, and suction processes for difficult to separate and thermosensitive systems.

2. Perforated corrugated packing is a regular packing material that is assembled by first rolling out high-density small puncture holes on a metal sheet and then pressing them into corrugated plates. Due to the special micro porous structure on the surface, it improves the wetting performance of the packing and can maintain the performance of the metal wire mesh corrugated packing.

3. Pore plate corrugated packing is a regular packing material assembled on the surface of metal sheets with holes, rolled small wrinkles, and large ripples. It has the characteristics of low resistance, uniform gas-liquid distribution, high efficiency, high flux, and unclear amplification effect. It is applied in negative pressure, atmospheric pressure, and pressurized operations.

Mesh packing is the main form of corrugated packing, which is made of metal wire mesh. Silk screen packing is a widely used high-efficiency packing material both domestically and internationally. It is a disc-shaped regular packing material composed of vertically arranged corrugated mesh sheets, with a ripple peak height and tower axis inclination angle of 45o and 30o, divided into two types: CY and BX

The characteristics of wire mesh fillers: The structure of wire mesh fillers is compact, with low resistance, high mass transfer efficiency, large processing capacity, and a large specific surface area. The disadvantage of screen fillers is that they are not suitable for handling materials with high viscosity, easy polymerization, or suspended solids, and are difficult to load, unload, and clean, resulting in high cost.
