Stainless steel wire woven square hole screen is also known as stainless steel screen, stainless steel wire mesh, wire woven dense mesh, high-precision wire mesh, stainless steel woven mesh, stainless steel filter, filter, square hole mesh.

Metal wire woven dense mesh, also known as high-precision metal wire mesh, commonly used specifications are 635 mesh, 600 mesh, 500 mesh, 450 mesh, 400 mesh, 370 mesh, 363 mesh, 350 mesh, 325 mesh, 300 mesh, 280 mesh, 270 mesh, 250 mesh. Mesh
number is a common parameter for stainless steel screens used in the filtration and screening industry. In the industry, it generally refers to the number of mesh holes within a length of 1 inch/25.4mm, which is also the number of mesh wires. This parameter was first commonly known by screen manufacturers. In the 1980s and 1990s, stainless steel screens were mainly used for export, so inches were used as the unit of length.
For example: a 635 mesh screen means that there are 635 mesh holes and 635 stainless steel wires within 25.4mm. Therefore, it can be concluded that screens/filters with the same mesh number have the same "wire diameter + aperture". Different wire diameters correspond to different apertures, and screens with different mesh numbers may have similar mesh apertures. This phenomenon is especially likely to occur for screens between 300 and 400 meshes. For example: for a 350 mesh twill woven screen, if the wire diameter is 0.030mm, the corresponding aperture is 25.4/350-0.030=0.043mm; for a 325 mesh twill woven screen, if the wire diameter is 0.035mm, the corresponding aperture is 25.4/325-0.035=0.043mm.
