Hastelloy alloy is a general term for the commercial grades of nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloys produced by Hastelloy International, USA. Including nickel-molybdenum Hastelloy B-2, nickel-chromium-molybdenum Hastelloy C-4, etc.
Features of Hastelloy: Hastelloy grades include the following grades:
HASTELLOY B-2 Nickel-molybdenum alloy, with excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environment HASTELLOY B-3 The upgraded version of B-2, has excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration.
HASTELLOY C-4 Good thermal stability, 650-1040 degrees Celsius has good toughness and corrosion resistance.
HASTELLOY C-22 has better uniform corrosion resistance in oxidizing media than C-4 and C-276, and excellent local corrosion resistance HASTELLOY C-276 has good resistance to oxidizing and moderate reducing corrosion, and excellent stress corrosion resistance. HASTELLOY C-2000 The most comprehensive corrosion-resistant alloy, with excellent uniform corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
HASTELLOY G-35 is an upgraded product of G-30, with better corrosion resistance and thermal stability. HASTELLOY G-30 is a nickel-based alloy with high chromium content, which performs well in phosphoric acid and other strong oxidizing mixed acid media.
HASTELLOY X has the characteristics of comprehensive high strength, oxidation resistance and easy processing. Each of the above grades has specific chemical composition, mechanical properties, and each has its own strengths. It is impossible to generalize what characteristics Hastelloy alloy has.
Hastelloy alloy is mainly divided into three series: B, C and G. It is mainly used in highly corrosive media where iron-based Cr-Ni or Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steel, non-metallic materials, etc. cannot be used.
Hastelloy alloy grades: In order to improve the corrosion resistance and cold and hot processing properties of Hastelloy alloy, Hastelloy alloy has undergone three major improvements, and its development process is as follows:
B series: B→B-2(00Ni70Mo28)→B-3
C series: C→C-276(00Cr16Mo16W4)→C-4(00Cr16Mo16)→C-22(00Cr22Mo13W3)→C-2000(00Cr20Mo16)
G series: G→G-3(00Cr22Ni48Mo7Cu)→G-30(00Cr30Ni48Mo7Cu)
The most widely used are the second-generation materials N10665(B-2), N10276(C-276), N06022(C-22), N06455(C-4) and N06985(G-3).

3. Hastelloy wire mesh corrugated packing, Inconel wire mesh corrugated packing and Monel wire mesh corrugated packing
Wire mesh packing is an industrial packing made of 40-80 mesh metal mesh in a corrugated form. It is a high-efficiency packing widely used at home and abroad. It is a disc-shaped regular packing composed of vertically arranged corrugated mesh sheets. The corrugation peak height and the inclination angle of the tower axis are 45o and 30o, and it is divided into two types, CY and BX.
Features of packing: high theoretical plate number, and its theoretical plate number is still high when the gas phase load decreases very little. The liquid volume is small when the pressure drops.
