Chemical pipeline filter element types and characteristics
Chemical pipeline filters are mainly composed of pipes, cylinders, filter baskets, flanges, flange covers and fasteners. Installed on pipelines, it can remove large solid impurities in the fluid, so that machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments can work and operate normally, stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production.
Main technical parameters of pipeline filter element
Shell material: carbon steel, stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L), fluorine lining, plastic (PP, PVC, etc.).
Coarse filter element material: filter frame and filter screen are stainless steel.

Features of pipeline filter element:
1. PP
filter element PP filter element is also called PP melt-blown filter element. Melt-blown filter element is made of hot-melt entangled polypropylene ultra-fine fibers. The filter element fibers randomly form a three-dimensional microporous structure in space, with a three-dimensional pore size. It is distributed in a gradient along the flow direction of the filtrate, integrating surface, deep and precision filtration, and can intercept impurities of different particle sizes.
Features of PP cotton filter element: The accuracy range of the filter element is 0.5-100μm, and its flux is more than 1.5 times that of the peak house filter element with the same precision. Different types of end cap joints can be configured to meet the needs of various engineering installations.
2. Wire-wound filter element
is made of textile fiber yarn with good filtration performance precisely wound on a porous frame. Its yarn materials include polypropylene fiber, acrylic fiber, absorbent cotton fiber, etc. By controlling the winding tightness and density of the yarn during winding, filter elements with different precisions can be made.
Features: It can effectively remove suspended solids, particulate impurities, etc. from various liquids, and has a high purification effect on various liquids.
3. Pleated filter element The
pleated microporous filter element is a precision filter device made of polypropylene thermal spray fiber membrane, nylon polytetrafluoroethylene microporous filter membrane and other filter media. It has the advantages of small size, large filtering area and high precision.
Features: Filtration accuracy ranges from 0.1μm to 60μm. The filter element end cover seal and overall structural connection are all made of hot melt bonding. There are three types of filter element connectors commonly used internationally: 222 connector, 226 connector, and flat mouth. Products undergo rigorous and complete testing before leaving the factory to ensure stable product performance.
4. Activated carbon filter element
There are two major categories of activated carbon filter element products: compressed activated carbon filter element and bulk activated carbon filter element.
1. The compressed activated carbon filter element uses coal-based activated carbon and coconut shell activated carbon with high adsorption value as filter materials, and is sintered and compressed with food-grade binders. The compressed activated carbon filter element is wrapped inside and outside with a layer of non-woven fabric that has a filtering effect to ensure that the carbon core itself will not drop carbon powder. Both ends of the carbon core are equipped with soft nitrile rubber sealing pads to allow the carbon core to be loaded into the filter cartridge. Has good sealing properties.
2. Bulk activated carbon filter element: Put the required activated carbon particles into a special plastic shell, use welding equipment to weld the end caps to both ends of the shell, and put non-woven fabrics for filtering into the two ends of the shell. Filter to ensure that the carbon core will not drop carbon powder and black water during use. According to the needs of customers, the shell end cover can be made into different types of connection ports. Interface methods include: flat pressure type, pipeline type (models include: 4042, 4044, 4046, etc.).

6. Resin filter element
Resin is a porous, insoluble exchange material. The resin filter element in the water softener is filled with millions of tiny plastic balls (beads), all of which contain many negative charge exchange sites that absorb positive ions. When the resin is in its nascent state, these charge exchange sites are occupied by positively charged sodium ions. As the calcium and magnesium pass through the resin tank, they come into contact with the resin beads and displace the sodium ions from their exchange positions. The resin preferentially binds strongly charged cations, calcium and magnesium ions having a stronger charge than sodium ions. The sodium cation is replaced and then flows down through the resin "bed" and out of the water softener, so that the water softener delivers "soft" water. Finally, all resin exchange positions are occupied by calcium and magnesium and can no longer work.
7. Stainless steel filter element
