1. Steel grade

This standard includes a total of 17 steel grades.

Three ferritic steel grades: S11306, S11348, and S11972.

11 austenitic steel grades: S30408, S30403, S30409, S31008, S31608, S31603, S31668, S31708, S31703, S32168, S39042.

Three austenite-ferrite steel grades: S21953, S22253, S22053.

Compared with GB150-1998, 6 steel grades are added.

2. Reasons for establishing this standard

(1) GB/T20878-2007 "Stainless steel and heat-resistant steel grades and chemical compositions" lists both unified numerical codes (according to GB/T17616) and grades (according to GB/T221).

The brand expression becomes more complicated (for example, the original 00Cr18Mo2 is changed to 019Cr19Mo2NbTi).

Some unified digital codes are inappropriate (such as S41008 and S31782).

(2) GB/T3280-2007 and GB/T4237-2007

The technical requirements are lowered compared to the 1992 standards.

Steel grades are only used in brand names and are not included in the unified digital code
